RODA is a superior range of polishing and deburring products, for precision finishing, manufactured in our UK Factory. RODA products consistently over-deliver on performance and efficiency.

 

Grades:

Fine (Black – SF): Made from SF material – Softer than standard unitised with a fine grit. Ideal for surface improvement and fine grinding work on softer metals.

Medium (Red – Standard): Made from standard unitised material, offering strong cut and a smooth finish.

Coarse (Blue – Vortex): Made from Norton Vortex material – a high-performance engineered grain, similar to ceramic. Higher quality grains make this a premium version of standard unitised material – it’s also a little bit softer than standard unitised, making it slightly more forgiving while maintaining coarseness.

Recommendations for RODA Point:

• Aluminium– Good for machine line removal, light and heavy marks and burrs. Excellent for edge breaking and chamfering but don’t leave a rough finish like a carbide burr. They leave a good finish with little pick up.
• Stainless Steels– They clean up light marks & stains in one hit, leaving a good finish.
• Gold and Silver – Using the Red medium grade on a 3.32″ spindle they work similar to a roll sanding and leave a clean finish. good for blending spues. Available on both a 3mm and 2.35mm (3/32”) making it ideal for precision tools such as micromotors, pendant motors, air tools, hobby tools etc. Unitised wheels are popular in a wide range of industries. These include mould tool polishing, precision engineering, cleaning up cast jewellery (great at removing spues,), watchmaking, fabrication, sculpture etc.
