Polishing jewellery at home
Most jewellery polishing uses two stages: a cutting compound on a firm felt to remove fine scratches, then a finishing compound on a soft mop for the final shine. Use a separate mop for each compound, keep the piece moving, and let the tool do the work.
For brushed watch cases and bracelets, a satin finishing kit restores the original grain. Most of our small tools fit a 2.35mm (3/32″) collet, the size used by most rotary tools and pendant motors.

Will these fit my rotary tool?
Most of our jewellery tools are on 2.35mm (3/32″) shanks, which fit most rotary tools and pendant motors. Check the product page for each tool.
Can I polish plated jewellery?
Take care. Gold and silver plating is very thin and heavy polishing can wear through it. Use only the finishing stage.
