Each kit steps from a cleaning or cutting stage to a soft mop and polishing compound. Fit the mandrel into your drill, work at a steady speed, and move to the next stage once the surface looks even. Clean off grease with warm soapy water before you start.
Yes. The drill-mounted kits come with a mandrel that fits a standard household drill or cordless driver. A variable speed drill gives you the most control.
Mops and compounds pick up particles from the metal you polish. Using the same mop on steel and then on copper or brass can leave dark marks, so we keep them separate.
Polishing removes tarnish, oxidation and light scratches. Deep scratches need an abrasive stage first, such as an abrasive nylon mop or Micro-Mesh MX, before you polish.
