How the repair works

Solid surface worktops like Corian are the same material all the way through, so marks can be sanded out rather than filled. Work over an area a little larger than the damage and step through each grade in order.

Finish to match the rest of the worktop: stop at a middle grade for a matt finish, or carry on to the finest grade for gloss.

These kits are made for solid surface and cultured marble. Granite and engineered quartz are much harder and need specialist diamond tools.
