Used for removing rust, paint and evening out metal surfaces. Abrasive nylon lap disc mops give an even finish.

Can be used for giving a matt/sateen finish on most metals.

The material is very coarse so we advise trying it on a small test patch first and going easy on softer metals.

We recommend 5,000RPM Maximum

Used with an angle grinder, standard drill, air tool with a tapered mandrel.

We suggest the following mandrels;

M14 Taper for an angle grinder -(right hand only) – internal thread, ideal for turning your Angle Grinder into a polisher. You can then thread on mops and wheels and use your angle grinder in a different way. A taper cone can be used with angle grinders so they can be used as polishers. Please check the diameter of the thread. M14 for a 4 1/2″ angle grinder is the most popular.

6mm shank taper for drills/air tools – Taper Mandrel with a tapering end for winding on mops and felts. In various sizes. The mandrels are all on a 6mm shank so can be used with a range of tools like a drill, pillar drill, air grinder or any other rotary tool.
