They work effectively\u00a0in both Aluminium \/ softer metals and Steels \/ harder metals. very similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/twisted-in-wire-cross-hole-deburring-brushes\/\">twist in wire brushes<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/flex-hones-for-internal-bore-finishing\/\">Flex Hones<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/down-hole-fleece-pipe-cleaners-for-polishing-down-bores\/\">bottle brushes<\/a>. The twisted abrasive nylon is hard abrasive consequently it\u00a0has good cut but in the finer grades it will leave a very smooth finish. The abrasive will not cause too much damage to the bore or start of the hole unlike\u00a0other metal twist in wire or flex holes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cleaning Bores and holes<\/strong> &#8211; These can also be used for cleaning and polishing bores. Select the finer grades for a softer application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Abrasive nylon tube brushes Sizes and Grades available:<\/h2>\n<p>These are available in sizes from 5mm diameter to 24mm diameter. Please select the right diameter to fit the bore.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>120 grit<\/strong> is a medium grade good for steels and harder metals or heavy larger burrs<\/li>\n<li><strong>240 grit<\/strong> is a fine grade suitable\u00a0on most metals and leave a good finish.<\/li>\n<li><strong>320 grit<\/strong>\u00a0Extra fine grade. This will leave a good finish and good for finer burrs also using with lapping fluid or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/lubar-bobbing-grease-tallow\/\">lubrication<\/a>\u00a0would leave a finer finish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Abrasive nylon tube brushes how to use them:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>by hand<\/strong> &#8211; We recommend using some lubrication because it might make this an easier job due to\u00a0the brush being commonly used in a tight in the bore.<\/li>\n<li><strong>with a drill or tool<\/strong> &#8211; we recommend manually winding in first of all and then spinning with a drill or tool &#8211; slow speed, high torque\u00a0would be best. This is the most popular method and creates good results we have found. Great for cross hole deburring.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In your CNC machine<\/strong> &#8211; for <strong>automatic deburring<\/strong> application where you want to remove burrs in your machining sequence. This is proving very popular as machining centres are becoming more technical with more tool options.
