They can also be used for matt (sateen) finishing for an even all over texture. Often good for creating an all over finish that hides small scratches and imperfections. Ideal for surface <strong>finishing aluminium and Stainless Steel<\/strong>, suits all metals although softer metals will need gentle treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Used With<\/strong> Lap disc mops can be used with a bench polisher, angle grinder with a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/taper-cone-arbor-with-internal-thread\/\"> taper cone<\/a>, a drill with a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/taper-mandrel-on-a-6mm-shank\/\"> tapered mandrel<\/a>. No need for any compound, the material is impregnated with grit offering a nice clean finish.<\/p>\n<h2>How to use<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Abrasive nylon is soft and will wear quickly if too much speed and pressure is used.<\/li>\n<li>An absolute maximum speed of 3000RPM is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>To make mops last a little longer, tackle sharp corners first with a coarse mop to smooth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Popular With Jewellers, fabricators, polishers, DIY polishing, Bikers, Car Restorers.
