Wood bobs are sometimes used instead of felt bobs as they are harder and give a little bit more cut. wooden lapping sticks would maintain their shape and work great for slots, corners and edges.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/diamond-compound-for-mould-tool-polishing\/\">Diamond compound<\/a> is commonly used with mounted wooden lapping sticks to create a hight polish.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round mounted lapping sticks can be used either in a rotary tool or with a reciprocator.<\/li>\n<li>Square mounted lapping sticks can be used with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product-category\/tools-equipment\/air-tools\/reciprocators-filers\/\">reciprocator<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both options are used with lapping paste such as Ultralap or Diamond Compound.<\/p>\n<p>Mounted Wooden Lapping Sticks are essentially the same as normal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moleroda.com\/product\/wooden-lapping-sticks\/\">wooden lapping sticks<\/a> but mounted on a spindle.<\/p>\n<p>3mm spindle<\/p>\n<p>Available in Hardwood and Softwood.
